University of Sussex

　　The University of Sussex has 12,000 students, including 2,300 from outside the UK from 120 countries; about 280 come from China. The campus is in parkland close to the south-coast city of Brighton. London is only 50 minutes from Brighton by train.

　　In The Times Higher Education Supplement ranking of world universities (2008), Sussex was placed 130th in the world and 20th in the UK. Three Nobel Prize winners have come from the sciences at Sussex.

　　In a survey spanning 81 universities by i-Graduate (Autumn 2008), our international students voted Sussex the ‘Best Place to Be’ in England.
