Sedaya International College

　　思特雅国际学院成立于1986年，16年坚持卓越办学的理念，致使学院成为马来西亚少数学院以提供多元化课程为主流的国际型学院。课程概括了工程系、计算机、商业系、应用科学、药剂、医药、社会科学和音乐等，并与加拿大、美国、澳大利亚、新西兰和英国的著名大学合伙办学。

　　今天，思特雅国际学院策略性的坐落在吉隆坡的心脏地区斯嘉镇，学院的7层大楼里设有国家级水平的实验室如，工程、药剂、计算机及应用科学实验室，2万册藏书量的图书馆，音乐教学设备，教务室，体育及休闲设备。已策划在未来一年内迁入耗资1亿元马币，占地14英亩的新校址。 通过思特雅e-优势的概念,本院于 2000年，率先的推行了电子院校的教学方案。

　　思特雅国际学院拥有超过200名的教务和行政职员，其中不乏是博士和硕士级资格专才。目前院校拥有约2500名学生，其中20%是分别来自16个国家和地区的留学生，如中国、印度尼西亚、新加坡、台湾、越南、泰国、印度、巴基斯坦、肯雅、刚果、伊朗、伊拉克、也门、沙地、阿拉伯联合酋长国、毛里求斯、乌兹别克等等。

　　多年来，思特雅国际学院荣获无数的奖衔，如多媒体超级走廊地位、9002国际品质认证、50大卓越企业奖及英国高等教育质量确保局的最佳评估。2002年8月, 本院院长及首席执行员拿督黄传发获得马来西亚及加拿大商业理事会（MCBC）颁发的2002年度加拿大及马来西亚商业卓越奖及良好公司公民奖。

　　Established since 1986, with a record of 16 years of successful academic excellence, Sedaya International College （SIC） is amongst the few Malaysian private colleges to offer a wide spectrum of academic studies ranging from Engineering to Information Technology and Business, Applied sciences to Pharmacy and

　　Medicine, Social Science to Music etc, and more in partnership with reputable universities in Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Britain.

　　Today SIC is strategically located in Cheras, the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The College is a 7-floor building completed with state-of-the-art laboratories such as engineering, pharmacy, computer, and applied science, a 20,000-volume library, music facilities, academic, sports and recreational facilities. Future plans include moving into a new RM100million 14-acre e-campus in a year's time. 　　Sedaya International College has over 200 teaching and administrative staffs with Ph.D or M.A/M.Sc. qualification. At present there are about 2500 students, of which 20% are foreign students from about 16 countries and regions such as China, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Pakistan, Kenya, Congo, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Mauritius, Uzbekistan etc. The College was a pioneer in recruiting China students as far back as 1995.

　　Over the years, the college has won numerous accolades such as the Multimedia Super Corridor （MSC） status, ISO 9002, Enterprise 50 Award, and British Quality Assurance Agency （QAA）. For the year 2002, our president and CEO, Dato' Peter Ng was awarded the “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” and an honorary mention for the “Good Corporate Citizen of the Year” award at the First Annual Canada Malaysia Business Excellence Awards ceremony.
