　　Drexel University was founded in 1891 by financier and philanthropist Anthony J. Drexel. It is composed of three campuses located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Drexel's 60-acre University City Main Campus is located in the University City district of Philadelphia, about a 10-minute walk from Center City, Philadelphia's downtown neighborhood. Students come from 48 U.S. states and 113 countries. Six percent of undergraduates and 11 percent of graduate students are international students.

　　Our co-op program provides undergraduate students with up to 18 months of professional experience before graduation. Drexel Co-op is one of the most extensive and well-respected co-op programs in the nation. Students work for more than 1,500 companies in 41 states and 17 countries. 　　Students are automatically considered for merit-based Scholarships with a maximum of $20,500 per year. These awards depend on the combination of grades and at least one of these test scores: SAT, TOEFL or IELTS.
